Step 1: Download It

Head over to and hit the download button

Step 2: Run the Installer

Find the downloaded file in your Downloads folder. Double-click it to launch the setup. Windows may ask for permission—click “Yes” to proceed. The setup wizard will guide you like a friendly GPS.

Step 3: Follow the Setup Wizard

• Accept the License: Check the box to agree to Xmind’s terms.
• Choose Destination: Stick with the default folder or pick another spot on your drive.
• Select Options: Decide if you want a desktop shortcut or file associations. Defaults are usually fine for most users.
• Click “Next” to move through each step.

Step 4: Install and Launch

Hit “Install” and let the wizard work its magic—it takes about a minute. Once done, click “Finish.” Xmind may launch automatically, or you can open it from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.

Step 5: Sign In or Start Free

On first launch, you’ll be prompted to sign in with an Xmind account or start the free version. No credit card is needed for the free tier, so you can dive right in
